Join us for an historic dress workshop at the Blaine County Museum in Chinook!

This workshop is led by M. Lynn Barnes, Ph.D., an accomplished Dress Historian from Libby, MT.  The day will begin with an assessment of BCM's textile collections, during which participants can observe the process and ask questions. Following a short lunch, the afternoon workshop will include a short presentation on textile conservation and the opportunity for participants to learn how to properly store and preserve the collection item they brought with them.

This event is open to members of the Museums Association of Montana. Participation is free, and each institution will receive a textile storage kit courtesy of our sponsor, The Foundation for Montana History. Space is limited to 10 institutions (15 total people). If more than one person from your institution will attend, they must each complete a registration.

Thank you to our Corporate Members!
